Why Partners/Teams Matter

I’ve been asked why I put so much emphasis on the yearly challenge being partner/team oriented and the simple answer is, connectivity. Personal time is great, I won’t argue with you there. HOWEVER, for the average person, too much time spent contemplating the world alone can be an issue. Human beings in general need social interactions to stay sharp and keep their minds right (yes, I know there are outliers), so I figured with all of the things aligned against us right now, this challenge would be what brings folks back together. Whether you’re walking around a local park with friends, roaming the neighborhood with your family, or linking up with others for the first time, your most likely going to come away from the event feeling more connected and in a better mood. Unless your attacked by crazed beavers etc. (although that will be one heck of a story).
