Military Child Appreciation Month

If you didn’t know, April is Military Child Appreciation Month. These kiddos sacrifice A LOT, without any real say. They get moved around, miss events, and have at least one parent who heads out the door for months at a time. If you have children, consider taking them along with you this month as you tick off the miles (even if you’re not a Veteran or child of a Vet yourself). Think about what it must be like to be in their shoes. It’s not easy for most adults to handle the aforementioned situations, so for a child, one can imagine how it must be.

Here is a great organization with some other resources relating to the military child.
